Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role combines customer service and communication with a people-first approach, supporting a welcoming environment through teamwork, reliability, and integrity while using agile and innovative practices throughout each shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help support order, provide directions, and address security-related concerns involving visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance or hazard-related issues, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.
