Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties appropriate to a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help enforce location policies related to visitor management, deliveries, and restricted areas.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, reporting equipment issues, operational concerns, and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
