Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and delivery activity, and support the flow of authorized personnel, vehicles, and shipments throughout the location.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
