About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, assist employees and visitors with professionalism, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and support visitor management processes in accordance with site expectations and security-related protocols.
• Observe working environments that may include administrative spaces, production or equipment areas, and high-traffic entry points, reporting maintenance, policy, and/or security-related concerns promptly.
