Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout hospital buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, escorts, and/or entry procedures in accordance with location protocols and healthcare-related expectations.
• Support staff and guests during routine operations and unexpected events by reporting hazards, addressing concerns, and following post orders and Allied Universal standards.
