About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Assessment in Albuquerque, New Mexico, you will serve and safeguard clients at a government location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. This is a part-time position scheduled Wednesday and Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, paying $16.43 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and county personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders as directed.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain required logs and reports, and communicate observed policy violations or maintenance concerns to site leadership.
Provide directions, answer general questions, and follow post orders and Allied Universal procedures.
