Security Officer Patrol Assessment

About The Position

As a full-time unarmed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Grand Prairie, Texas, you will help safeguard the client by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and providing customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors and respond to security-related concerns. The position is scheduled for day shift hours of 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response protocols.
Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
