Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading and receiving areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for staff, visitors, and/or delivery drivers, verify credentials and/or shipping information as directed by site policies, and report discrepancies to the appropriate contact.
• Observe site operations and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations, while supporting orderly traffic flow around docks, gates, and high-activity work areas.
