As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card/license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, dock doors, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific protocols.
Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols and assist with follow-up actions according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
