As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Response in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor alarm panels, and respond to concerns with professionalism. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience using an alarm panel is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.
