As a Security Officer Patrol Access Monitor in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will interact with shoppers, staff, and visitors while responding to site needs with professionalism. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting observations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and support loss prevention awareness by reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
Assist with closing and opening routines, support crowd and line management during busy periods, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
