As a Security Officer Patrol Access Coordination in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions.

Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs.
Assist with maintaining an orderly professional environment by communicating observations, incidents, and policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
