As a Security Officer Patrol Access Coordination in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs.
  • Assist with maintaining an orderly professional environment by communicating observations, incidents, and policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
