As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Republic, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service while using computer or tablet-based systems to document observations and communicate with the team. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access-control points, visitor activity, and delivery areas in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
