Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Monitor visitor access, greet and screen incoming guests, verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, respond to routine inquiries, and communicate professionally with onsite personnel, building management, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and other security-related equipment from the front desk, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and access issues according to site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations, and promptly notify appropriate personnel.
