As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, agility, reliability, and care.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, processing areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
