Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and control access to the logistics and distribution location.
  • Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, coordinate with receiving and shipping personnel as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and documenting events according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
