As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service. Use computer or tablet systems to support badge access, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and help maintain a secure environment. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing or corporate location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing temporary access badges, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help identify unauthorized access or security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to visitor activity, access control events, incidents, and shift communications.
