Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and facility-rule concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and document access-related activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.
