As an Unarmed Security Officer at an industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This primarily driving role requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team at Allied Universal while acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures; verify authorized access and maintain required visitor and delivery records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and shift documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
