Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical calls, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, damaged property, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with campus personnel, visitors, and responding public service agencies.
