As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a healthcare-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures in accordance with site policies.
  • Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
