Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.
