About The Position

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help create a secure environment while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to acting with integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and incident documentation.
Report potential hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and other security-related observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
