About The Position

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help create a secure environment while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and incident documentation.
  • Report potential hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and other security-related observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
