Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or hazards that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general questions, and help support orderly operations for patients, staff, and guests.
  • Document routine activities, incidents, and/or policy concerns in a clear and timely manner, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or responding authorities.
