Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a strong visible presence. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading docks, parking areas, warehouse spaces, trailer yards, and perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor site access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and/or policy violations involving people, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Document incidents, daily activities, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, employees, and/or local responders as needed.
