Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, assist staff and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication, and bring a reliable, caring, and innovative approach while working with integrity and teamwork every day.

Requirements

  • Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity, offering directions and assistance while following visitor, patient, and staff access procedures.
  • Support medical facility operations by communicating with site contacts and/or first responders during alarms, medical calls, or other urgent events, while maintaining a professional presence.
