You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, assist with access control and visitor guidance, and communicate clearly with staff and responders. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, observing and reporting unusual activity and/or hazards.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, coordinating notifications, and documenting actions taken.
  • Control access at designated points by checking identification, supporting visitor management processes, and directing individuals to appropriate destinations per site procedures.
  • Complete required security-related reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
