Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist patients, visitors, and staff, and communicate concerns quickly and professionally. Requirements

• This hospital site requires vaccines.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting, and coordination with site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with wayfinding, and support visitor management processes in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and irregularities in written reports and logs, and communicate timely updates to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site contacts.
