As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and document observations while providing professional customer service. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific, security-related procedures, including access control, visitor processing, and identification verification.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems as assigned, and communicate observations and/or concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities and directing people to follow posted instructions.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and corrective actions in written reports and logs, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.
