As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, support access control, and document security-related activity using a computer or tablet. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will stay highly visible, help to discourage unwanted activity, and deliver customer-focused communication. Requirements

  • Security Experience ‐ 6+ Months.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service Experience - preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site personnel and/or public responders as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including buildings, processing areas, tank farms, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking credentials, managing visitor and contractor logs, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and/or other communication systems; document unusual activity, hazards, and incidents in written reports and communicate findings to supervision.
