Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reports and requests from onsite teams. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while completing detailed documentation and supporting daily operations. Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and/or theft.
- Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor logs, and/or delivery documentation as required while maintaining a professional presence.
- Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and/or maintenance issues in written reports and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
