Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support access awareness, respond to alarms and/or observed concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response activities in a busy retail and entertainment location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related observations and actions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the venue, including guest areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor activity around high-traffic spaces, support crowd and line management during peak periods, and report maintenance, policy, and/or security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with closing and opening routines, help control access to restricted areas, and provide directions and assistance to guests, visitors, and staff as needed.
