Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related matters to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, amenities areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, common areas, and exterior locations for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related concerns, and communicate observed issues through proper channels.
  • Assist with access control, visitor direction, and crowd awareness during busy periods, special events, and/or high-traffic guest activity while maintaining a professional presence.
