Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, monitoring access activity, and supporting security-related protocols for a healthcare location.
  • Greet visitors, staff, and vendors, verify identification and/or credentials, and help control entry in accordance with site policies.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions and general questions, and communicate security-related concerns, unusual activity, and/or service needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site contacts when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report observations related to security-related matters in a timely manner.
