Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter.
Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, theft-related concerns, and policy violations, and report observations according to site procedures.
Document incidents and patrol activity accurately and coordinate with store management and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
