Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, support daily operations through teamwork, and act with integrity every day.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and vendors, following post instructions for badges, visitor processing, and/or delivery coordination.
  • Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues observed during patrols, while providing professional assistance and clear directions when appropriate.
