In this role, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will support daily operations with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activity through appropriate communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor management processes in accordance with site expectations.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations, directing foot traffic, and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
