As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and communications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and deliver customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid Driver's License under AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and security-related systems, verify credentials, and document entries, exits, and deliveries according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or alarm activations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Complete required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation with clear, timely details, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
