As an unarmed driving Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols across the site, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge checks. You will respond to calls for service, document activities, and communicate clearly with team members and on-site leaders. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry and exit for employees, visitors, and drivers, following post orders for identification checks, visitor processing, and directing traffic flow.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders when needed.
• Complete shift logs, incident reports, and other documentation as required, and communicate relevant information to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or oncoming personnel.
