As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will communicate clearly, support tenants and visitors with a service-first approach, and act with integrity while working as part of a reliable, agile, innovative team.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and common areas, assisting with entry and exit control when assigned, and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations to site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions to occupants and documenting actions taken.
• Complete required reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity summaries, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or property management.
