Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive business location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas of the location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, the business perimeter, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, visitor access, incidents, and unusual observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
