About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Entry Operations in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at a government location; verify identification, credentials, and authorization before permitting access in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate access-related records, visitor logs, and incident documentation; communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify conditions requiring attention.
