Requirements

  • Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess an Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns through established communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured areas, or policy violations to site leadership and/or local responders when needed.
  • Support opening, closing, and after-hours security-related operations by observing sensitive areas, maintaining a visible presence, and following post orders for armed patrol assignments.
