As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential condominium community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns and representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access to the property, verify visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document entries, incidents, and observations accurately.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the residential location to help deter unauthorized activity while providing courteous assistance and directions to residents and visitors.
