Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to visitor activity, incidents, patrols, and access-control events.
