As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, helping to support a secure environment through visible presence, routine patrols, access awareness, and strong communication. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, teamwork, and acting with integrity while delivering reliable, innovative, and people-first security-related services.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and help to deter unauthorized entry while supporting daily operations at a technology-focused location.
• Observe for potential maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and provide timely reports to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
