Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control/badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, parking areas, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Document daily activities, incidents, and access control concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
