This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have access control and badge experience preferred.
Have customer service experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and retrieve visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following healthcare location protocols.
Assist with directing patients and visitors to appropriate entrances, departments, and services while maintaining a courteous and professional presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
