Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, authorizations, visitor information, and delivery-related entry requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, the business, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.
