You will manage badge access, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery or contractor entry requirements.
  • Maintain accurate access-related logs and reports for visitors, contractors, vehicles, deliveries, and other authorized personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or access-control concerns.
